 Planned Preventative Maintenance “PPM” is the scheduled maintenance program for plant and equipment to ensure that the equipment is operating correctly and efficiently therefor reducing breakdowns any unscheduled downtime. PPM is pre-planned with maintenance being undertaken for every items separately according to manufacturer’s recommendation or legislation.
